Juno Beach is home to the headquarters of Florida Power & Light. It was also the original county seat for the area that was then known as Dade County, Florida. Incorporated in 1953, the town is governed by a five-member council with a Town Manager. Residents are protected by a 16 member police department. Palm Beach County Fire Rescue provides professional fire protection and paramedic services.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 1.9 square miles (4.9 km2). 1.4 square miles (3.6 km2) of it is land and 0.5 square miles (1.3 km2) of it (25.13%) is water.
